The lineup for Outlook Festival was already looking pretty damn strong with the likes of Joey Bada$$, Stormzy, Kano and David Rodigan among the scores of fantastic acts announced last month. Ever the destination for the best sound systems and acts across a wide variety of genres, the good folk at Outlook are out to prove that, even heading towards a 9th successful year, they aren’t getting complacent. As a result, a further range of sensational acts have been announced for the festivities commencing August 31st.

Among the new acts, The Heatwave return to the festival again (hopefully hosting another one of their legendary boat parties) as does rising MC and one of our Grime Freshers of 2016, Novelist. One of the breakthrough acts of 2016 ATL and Awful Records’ ABRA will also be bringing her talents to Fort Punta Cristo – as will Dubstep mainstays Youngsta and Hatcha, DJ Hype, Chimpo, Barely Legal and the Gentleman’s Dub Club.

A festival built on the foundations of dub and reggae; soundsystems have long been at the heart of Outlook, and each year internationally revered artists and vocalists are invited to play. OBF Soundsystem, Shanti D, Dan Man, Rider Shafique, Earl Gateshead, Charlie P, Dubble, Danny T & Tradesman plus Sinai Sound will now join Iration Steppas, Jah Shaka, Channel One and more legends to shake those mighty Outlook systems. Also a vital part of the festival programming, MC’s are a vital part of what makes Outlook so special. This year sees a strong contingent of the finest MC’s old and new, with SP:MC, Killa P, Crazy D, Fox, MC AD, Steppa Style, Visionobi, Codebreaker MC, Tonn Piper, MC Flux, Sense MC and more.

All in all over 80 acts have been added to the ticket in what might be one of the best Outlook Festival lineups in recent memory. And you can be part of it by buying your tickets here.
