[easingsliderlite]The Spurs drew a loose-ball foul on Dwyane Wade on one of their misses, and followed that up with a 3-pointer. So, on only one of their 20 possessions did they not score (15) or turn the ball over (4).

Twelve of the 14 buckets were assisted and 15 of the 16 shots were either from the paint or from behind the 3-point line. Danny Green shot 4-for-4 (3-for-3 on threes), Tony Parker shot 3-for-4, and Tim Duncan, Kawhi Leonard and Tiago Splitter all shot 2-for-2.

Spurs fourth-quarter shot chart

Did LeBron James‘ absence have something to do with it? Sure. They outscored the Heat 33-12 in 10:09 with James off the floor in the second half. But the Spurs’ fourth-quarter run started before he left the game with 7:31 left and they still had to make the shots they were given.

And they made all but two of them.
